Thomas Edwards

For more than four decades, Thomas Edwards has chronicled real-life crimes and tragedies as a dedicated police-beat reporter, a newspaper editor, the co-host of a drive-time true-crime radio show, a public-television panelist reporting on jurisprudence and partnering with his wife to produce and narrate "The Rap Sheet: A Texas True-Crime Podcast." The horrors he's seen as a journalist form the basis for much of his fiction writing, so readers can be assured there's a dash of truth woven into the make-believe mayhem. His reporting has taken him to Texas, Louisiana, the Mexican border, Honduras, Panama and the United Kingdom.
