In 1969, at the age of eighteen, I dove into Lake Independence and became a C 5/6 quadriplegic. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. and J.D. My employment included working on an Indian reservation, investigating nursing homes, and teaching ethics in college. "Wheelchair Bound?" Is my first, and probably only book. I am retired living on an island in Puget Sound.
