Jeffrey Yarbrough is a law enforcement subject matter expert with over 28 years of experience. He currently serves as Chief of Police for the Hutto Police Department. Jeffrey also served as the inaugural police chief of two Texas school district police departments. The largest district served a student population of over 51,000 students. Jeffrey previously served as a sergeant in the Public Integrity Unit at the Travis County District Attorney’s office. He also served as Chief of Police and Assistant City Manager for the City of Tulia, Texas, senior investigator for the State Bar of Texas, and sergeant in the Criminal Prosecution Division of the Texas Attorney General’s Office where he worked numerous high-profile murder and capital murder cases.Chief Yarbrough possesses a master’s degree in Educational Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University at College Station. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Brownsville with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
