Hi, I'm Kara Douglas! I grew up on Alice in Wonderland and Where the Wild Things Are, getting lost in stories about a character falling into fantastical worlds. I spent my childhood scribbling book ideas in a decomposition notebook, always hoping to fall into a fantasy of my own. After spending the start of my adulthood as an Occupational Therapist, I'm now living out my dream adventure as an author. Home to South Carolina, I've got a southern accent but won't listen to a single country song. Instead, you can catch me with a quesadilla in my hand, and my dog snuggled up at my feet.
