Frances Bittman

Frances Bittman was born in Chicago, Illinois. She grew up in McLean, Virginia and attended Georgetown University for her undergraduate degree in English followed by Columbia for her Masters in Teaching English. Franny spent 11 years teaching at Manhattan Village Academy, a Title I high school in New York City, followed by 3 years at Darien High School and 6 years at Greenwich High School. She looks forward to many more years as a teacher. Franny met and married a fellow teacher from MVA, Ryan Bittman, seventeen years ago, and they have two children.
