Scott Cottrell is a retired US Army Colonel. A graduate of the United States Military Academy, he served for more than 29 years on active duty, including as the Commander, US Army Kwajalein Atoll/Kwajalein Missile Range, now the Reagan Test Site. His other numerous assignment locations include in Israel, Panama, and Hawaii. He has commanded at the platoon, company, battalion and brigade level. He served as the Central Command Engineer, and Chief of Base Realignment and Closure efforts at Ft. Knox, Kentucky. He is married with two children and four grandchildren .
