He is an Emmy-winning former TV news correspondent who has also worked for cable news networks as an on-air political analyst and opinion writer. His documentary films have won international festivals, and he was frequently named the best TV reporter in Texas by the Associated Press, UPI, Houston Press Club, and the Texas Headliners’ Foundation.
