Doreen Finn

Doreen Finn is the author of two novels. She is from Dublin, Ireland, and works as a teacher of English and Spanish in addition to writing. She has lived in Madrid and LA, and moved back to Dublin when her first child was born. She has two children. Doreen writes personal essays, short stories and novels. Her story, Strawberry Season, was shortlisted for the prestigious Francis McManus award in 2022, and she has contributed essays to Sunday Miscellany. Her first novel, My Buried Life, was runner up for the Kate O'Brien award. Her second, Night Swimming, was published to critical acclaim in 2019. Her third novel, To the End of Love is currently seeking a good home. Doreen's novels deal with inter-family relationships, love and how it changes, and she is especially interested in how childhood influences adult life.
