I'm a political psychologist who has been fascinated by the concept of hope for at least a decade. My interest in hope (and its absence) began in 2012 with my first experimental studies on hope inducement. Since then, I've published numerous articles and book chapters on hope and despair as political phenomena and lectured on hope to a wide range of academic and non-academic audiences.
I teach and conduct my research at the Hebrew University, where I serve as a Senior Research Associate at the Psychology of Intergroup Conflict and Conciliation Lab. I was born and raised in Jerusalem and currently reside with my family in Tel Aviv. Before turning to research and teaching, I worked as a documentary filmmaker and news cameraman covering conflict and war. The nickname Adomi was given to me by a random boy from my neighborhood when I was 10. It kind of stuck.
