Jan C Thompson

Jan C. Thompson is an author and ministry/retreat leader from Chicago, IL. She and her husband, Rick, share a vision for ministry that led them to a church plant in Iowa and then to missions in Moscow, Russia, to help establish churches. They returned to America to minister in Texas and now Chicago. Jan served on staff as the Director of Welcome and Connections at several churches. She enjoys writing, leading retreats, and mentoring women in ministry in America and overseas. She has written Rooted Woman of Valor, which focuses on the fruit, roots, and soil of the Proverbs 31 woman and her "fear of God" heart. Her second book, UpRooted by God's Design, is a 30 Day Bible Study Devotional rooted in Ezra, Haggai, and Zechariah. Her greatest joy is to spend time with the Lord in His Word, her husband, adult children, and their families.
