Before she found her true calling as a wordsmith extraordinaire, her life was a whirlwind adventure—she's been a courtroom stenographer, a bus driver (she swears she never missed a turn), a diva on the opera stage, and even the proud (albeit ineffective) owner of a lighthouse with a broken beacon.

When she's not lost in reverie or corralling her animal entourage, you'll likely find her indulging in classic Hollywood films, rediscovering forgotten literary gems, or sipping copious amounts of coffee to fuel her nocturnal musings.
