Seaton D. Wilson

Rev. Seaton D. Wilson is an ordained minister of the Pen–Florida District of the Assemblies of God. Before transferring his ministerial credential to the Pen–Florida District in 2007, he was a minister of the Assemblies of God in Jamaica for more than twenty-five years. Since February 1, 2006, he has been the senior pastor of First Assembly of God, Inc., Christiansted, St. Croix, US Virgin Islands.

Prior to this he served the Assemblies of God in Jamaica in the following capacities:

• Lecturer and Academic Dean at the Assemblies of God Bible College, 1988– 2003 and 1991–99, respectively

• National Education Director, 1994–97

• Panelist for the national radio broadcast Gospel and Song, 1989–2005

• Pastor of three churches, 1980–2006

• General Secretary of the national fellowship, 1997–2005

Prior to this, Rev. Wilson was Secretary/Treasurer of the North Trelawny Ministerial Fraternal Organization (1984); Chairman of the United Ministers Association of Manchester, Jamaica (1996–98); and religion columnist for the Western Mirror newspaper (1983).

Rev. Wilson has been a conference, crusade, and seminar speaker in Canada, the United States, and nineteen Caribbean Islands for the past twenty-five years. He is a graduate of the Jamaica Open Bible Institute (1978) and Luther Rice Seminary (1981), where he earned a diploma in Bible and theology and a bachelor of ministry degree, respectively. His philosophy of life is “To know, be, and do the will of God.”

He has been happily married to his wife, Jean, since 1979. They have two sons, Joseph and Christoph.
