Peter Matthies

My name is Peter Matthies, and I’m a former Venture Capitalist, tech entrepreneur, and founder of the Conscious Business Institute (CBI). Before CBI, I was a Principal for the global Private Equity firm, Apax Partners, and b-business partners, a pan-European VC fund.

At CBI, we created a scalable system for transforming organizations, which has now reached more than 60,000 professionals in companies up to 150,000 employees.

But let's be honest: you're not visiting this page to hear me brag about my accomplishments (unless you're my dad. Hi dad!)

I believe that the most impactful gift we can give to anyone is to see them at the level of their soul. When that happens, they access a level of energy, clarity and purpose that can transform the world. My aim is to achieve that through my writing.

At home in Santa Barbara, I get a kick out of Aikido, Capoeira, sailing, and a good dance with my wife, Rosalina.
