Yes, a twisted combo, but it fits.

My love for pets is a life-long chronicle spiraling in every direction, as does my thirst to write.

A pet rescuer since the ‘70s, I’ve transported, medicated, loved, cared for (fostering numerous kittens and puppies), snuggled, groomed, loved, rehomed, as well as educated hundreds of pet parents and professionals, and pet nannying thousands of local furballs.

In my rescuing, I’ve touched the lives of more than 4,000 small plus a few large animals, reptiles, llamas, bunnies, etc.

I live truthfully through poetry in Sections of My Grapefruit.

My Dog Bite Prevention: Don’t Be Scared, Be Prepared was created as an entertaining and educational coloring book or companion story book to show I am a Voice for the Voiceless. These books are for any human who interacts with dogs. I created it so people could understand how dogs communicate with all five of their senses. Dogs usually get the blame for bites, so my hope is we, at any age, can learn to respect the boundaries of a dog.

Dale & I have been together for 40+ years parenting our family of two spirited adult kids, Kristopher Boesen and Kyle Boesen; nurtured eight dogs plus one fish; and were privileged to have been staff to 13 cats. This menagerie represents rescued kittens, puppies and six adopted geriatric canine beauties who had been orphaned.

Currently, we are staff to Klondike, Kokopelli, & Komet.
