Larry Elin

Larry Elin is Professor Emeritus at the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where he taught in the Television, Radio, Film department for 20 years. Prior to that, he worked for 24 years in the entertainment business, notably in computer graphics, animation, visual effects and interactive games for children. He created much of the computer animation for the Disney feature film TRON, and won the first Clio Award ever awarded for computer animation. He can be found in Wikipedia and IMBd. He is the author or co-author of three non-fiction books (also available on Amazon) and the producer, director and editor of numerous films, television commercials and interactive products. Much of his work can be found on Vimeo. He is the father of two, grandfather of one and lives with his wife, Katy Benson, and pets Reesa and Scamper in an offgrid yurt in upstate New York.
