Heather Hall

Heather Hall is an experienced elementary educator. She thrives on creating engaging experiences for her young students, collaborating with peers, and bringing her passion for literature to children and their families through books and discussion. As young girl, she used stories and picture books as a spark for questions, learning and lively conversation. As an elementary educator, this continues now with the students in her classroom.

Her inspiration for writing comes from the Gulf Islands in the Salish Sea. Saturna Island has been a part of her life since she was young and has been the perfect place to observe animals and plants and let her stories grow.

She holds a BA in Development Studies, Bachelor of Education, and a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership.

Heather lives with her family in Calgary, Alberta, where she works with children, writes stories, and tries to grow a garden!
