Patri Lawson

After college and three distinct careers, Patri Lawson finally began full-time work in the vocation she had always sought. Throughout her years as an English teacher, a florist, and a Social Services manager, one current flowed through her life, binding her experiences together. Though her titles varied, she was always a writer. Multiple professions allowed her to gain insight through dramatically different work cultures.

Since retiring from her 20-year stint with Sacramento County, she and her partner, Dale, have traveled to every one of the lower forty-eight states in an ever-changing series of recreational vehicles. On their journeys, they’ve experienced disaster and delight in equal measure. Those tales must be told. So, inspired by the RV life, Patri now writes from her home in Northern California. That is… when she’s not on the road.
