Ruby Fey

Ruby Fey is an educator, social pedagogue and mother.

She has worked predominantly with children in the early childhood sector for many years.

During her thesis work, she explored happiness research in the educational context. One of her particular concerns is to incorporate these insights playfully into her picture books. For example, experiences such as self-efficacy and helping others are depicted as small building blocks of a happy life. In her interactive books, children can make these experiences themselves and see how satisfying it feels to contribute to solutions in various situations.

Together with her husband, she has now published her first works. Privately, Ruby loves to travel and discover new things. She appreciates meeting people and learning from their wisdom from different cultural backgrounds. She is a connoisseur who not only celebrates good food but also enjoys beautiful landscapes, sensory scents, and moving music.
