Peter Dougherty

As a youngster, I remember not liking tax season. It's when our optimistic, cheerful father wasn't his typical self. Dad was intelligent, but filing our family taxes was for him a difficult undertaking using a vocabulary that wasn't his own.

He's the reason, I think, for writing my books: “The Dougherty Code: Secrets of Financial Planning in Spain Revealed” and “La Hoja de Ruta Fiscal y Financiera para los españoles en EE.UU”.

Both give the briefest, most enjoyable introduction to the vocabulary of finance and taxes that I can.
