Christine Tipper

Christine Tipper calls the West of England home, but home has also meant France, Spain, and Nepal along the way. Blame her insatiable curiosity (or call it nosiness, she won't argue) for the fact that she speaks several languages fluently and works as a translator and interpreter, forever eavesdropping on conversations across the globe. That same curiosity fuels her fiction: she writes mysteries designed to hook readers and keep them guessing.

Beyond the page, Christine is drawn to colour and texture. Painting and mosaic-making give her a different kind of puzzle to solve. When she's not creating, she's off travelling, buried in a crime novel, or working up a sweat to stay fit.
