Phillipa Wade

Phillipa Wade was born in Pretoria, South Africa and spent most of her life in the coastal city of Durban. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Phillipa is the author of ‘The System of Light’ trilogy. Being an enthusiastic fan of Science fiction she discovered that writing in the Science Fiction/ Fantasy genre offers unlimited scope for her vivid imagination.

She spent the last twenty years of her life in South Africa writing educational materials on many subjects ensuring that the lives of many were improved through ‘effective’ education. An understanding of the powerful value of words became a key part of her methodology thereby increasing her understanding of people. A well-developed awareness of life challenges enhanced her ability to view different situations and write about them.

Phillipa’s firm belief is that with her vivid imagination and passion for storytelling, the trilogy could develop into a series. Science Fiction offers no boundaries and as there is so much life and adventure that can still be explored and detailed there is scope for future work.
