Robert Hawker

Robert Hawker started his career as a qualified chartered accountant (ACA) before moving into data in 2007. Since 2007, Rob has worked across a range of industries including Telecoms, Financial Services, Pharma and Media in both subject matter expert and leadership roles.

During his career, Rob has worked on a broad range of data governance activities, including data process design, creation of data dictionaries, data quality management, and the design of data owner and steward roles. Rob has also implemented master data management at several organisations. Rob has experienced a wide range of technologies - particularly SAP ERP, data governance and BI tools as well as the Microsoft Analytics platform (particularly Power BI).

Rob works as an independent consultant and trainer, focussing on data governance and Power BI.

Rob is married with two young children and lives in the UK.
