David A Sharrock

After forty-two years working in the UK insurance industry, I finally got the chance to follow my passion and wrote my first novel, A DIY Spy, which was published on Amazon in 2023. Twelve months on, my second novel, The Death Of Me, was published along with a 2nd edition of A DIY Spy. It's taken a little longer than I planned but my third novel, The Character Assassins, was published in June 2026.

All three paperback editions are available to buy through Amazon, but The Death of Me and The Character Assassins can also be ordered through major UK book retailers. Alternatively, they can be ordered through any UK library if you only wish to borrow the books.

My books so far have been crime fiction, interlaced with humour, and while I enjoy writing humorous stories, some of the future novels I have already sketched out may leave the humour behind. I will be starting work on my fourth novel in the summer and hope this will be available for publishing in 2027.
