Vicki Monette

Vicki Monette is a Pastor’s wife, mom, grandmother, artist, cancer survivor and author. She has been a commercial artist, fashion illustrator, oil painter and is also a watercolor artist with earned Signature Membership in three Watercolor Societies. Vicki and her husband Rene are now retired and living in the hill country of Texas not far from their daughter and her family.

The book, Drawing Close to God, came from Vicki’s cancer battle. The journey began with fear and despair, but by learning to use Bible Scriptures, she began to see the fear turn into hope and the despair into a stronger Christian walk. Vicki’s original black and white drawings are sprinkled through the book, ready to be enjoyed and colored.
