Henry Hunter: A Baker's Journey Through History and Passion

Henry Hunter is a storyteller and advocate for the art of bread baking. After a distinguished four-year tenure in the U.S. Army and a 26-year advertising and marketing executive career, an unexpected injury led him to discover his passion for bread baking. Encouraged by his family’s enthusiasm, he began selling his bread at local farmers markets, quickly finding success.

Determined to preserve the legacy of bread-making, Henry founded the thriving Facebook community "Baking Great Bread at Home," uniting beginners and experts worldwide. His Saturday morning baking show, which started with just 13 viewers, now engages a global audience, sharing bread's rich history, science, and art.

Henry is the author of three influential books: "Bread: A Journey Through History, Science, Art, and Community," "Vitale Sourdough Mastery," and his latest release, "From Oven to Market: The Ultimate Guide to Selling Your Artisan Bread." These works offer more than recipes—they connect readers to centuries of tradition and the intricate science behind baking.

Join Henry and his community in celebrating the heritage and craft of bread, one loaf at a time.
