Debbi Hudak

Hi, I’m Debbi Hudak, I live in Putnam County, NY, with my husband and two wonderful daughters. I worked in the schools for 18 years and dedicated most of my time to kindergarten classes…cherishing every moment. My family and friends have been supportive of my writing children’s books and I truly thank them for it. They recognize my deep commitment to enhancing young learners’ school experiences. Oh the joy of educating young minds!

“Batty’s Flying Adventure” offers an engaging and educational experience. It focuses on numbers, colors and rhyming text. The illustrations are incredible!

My passion project, “Why Doesn’t Alicia Talk?” is dedicated to promoting kindness, patience and compassion. Inspired by my daughter, Alicia, who has autism and my experience working in the schools with children with autism. My dream is to see it grace the shelves of elementary school libraries nationwide and to be read aloud to children every April 2nd on World Autism Awareness Day. My book, Luca, was inspired by our beloved family dog. He was brought to life to help our young children grasp the concept of figuring out what someone needs or wants without words. Once again the goal is to promote compassion, patience and kindness.
