Barbara Ingham is a UK-based economist. She has written and lectured extensively on topics in international and development economics. Published books include texts for students on global themes, covering key concepts in an accessible and user-friendly way. There are also research monographs and biographies which focus on important institutions and social relations. She has co-authored the biography of the Caribbean economist W.Arthur Lewis and the "Windrush" generation in Britain. Her latest book is a biography of Ida Greaves who was born in Barbados in 1907, and is one of the "missing female voices" of development economics.
