Jennie Hansen

Jennie Hansen is a historian. She researches how nature was understood, appropriated, and administered under British imperialism. She weathered the pandemic years by writing her first book (with Bill Waiser), and acquiring a puppy. She has yet to decide who is more opinionated - the co-author, or the poodle. Previously, she contributed a chapter to Bison and People on the North American Great Plains (2016). She is based in Saskatchewan, Canada.
