Koi Brooks

Koi Brooks is a young aspiring artist and author-illustrator from PG County, MD. Koi specializes in writing and illustrating books that deal with topics that apply to their own life, such as anxiety, autism, and other disabilities that affect them.

With one common universe and a variety of characters with their own unique stories and personalities, Koi believes in educating and entertaining, one book at a time. While the disabled experience is highly complex and difficult to summarize for most, they aim to create stories that inform as well as intrigue in an easy-to-digest format.

Anyone is welcome to follow the journey of Koi’s characters as they navigate the world as it is, learn about each other, improve their self-image, and prove that disability doesn’t have to stop kids from exploring, making friends, or being their happiest selves!
