LaRoyce Braxton

LaRoyce Rachelle Hicks-Braxton was born on Independence Day, July 4th, 1959 in Los Angeles, California. She is the first of four children born to parents, Leroy Hicks and Shirley O'Neal-Hicks. She also has seven additional siblings, four sisters, and three brothers.

LaRoyce childhood days were spent in the great city of Compton where she attended school and graduated from Dominguez High School.LaRoyce has two beautiful grown children, LaKeisha Asberry, and Anthony Ficklin, Jr., who has blessed me with four granddaughters and two grandsons.

At one low point in her life. LaRoyce was addicted to drugs. It was love, support & prayer that helped her overcome the addiction & enabled her to use that experience to help others.

As a child of God, LaRoyce dedicates her life to serving Him, her family, friends, and community. The rewards and blessings are perpetual and LaRoyce credits God, and feels she could never thank Him enough.
