Geoff believes the heart of member care is to co-labor with Jesus Christ as men and women of prayer and of peace. What a privilege to equip and empower global workers in Christ and the people and systems who care for them, to be resilient in life and ministry for the Glory of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit!
He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Kentucky and serves member care professionals as the founding director of Valeo Research Institute and the MissioNexus People Care and Development Track co-leader. He is the co-editor of Essentials in People Care and Development: A Collection of Best Practices, Research, Reflections, and Strategies (released in 2023) and enjoys speaking on member care, missional resilience, and related topics.
Geoff spent some of his formative years in the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, Hong Kong, and Singapore. He and his wife, Kriss, have been engaged in vocational ministry since 2000 and supporting the care and training of those in cross-cultural missions since 2007. Those experiences piqued his interest in understanding how global workers in Christ could persevere with joy. That's what led him to research global worker resilience.
