Sister Dr. Patience Quayson is a native of Ghana, West Africa. She attended Catholic primary school and sang in her local Catholic Church choir. She has been a religious sister for about 40 years since she started at the age of 19 serving as the
vocation director of her order for about thirty years.
In 1986, she was sent to Rome to study philosophy and theology, graduating with a master’s degree in theology. In the year 2000, she graduated from Cape Coast University, Ghana with master’s in Educational Administration.
Later she earned a Doctor of Ministry degree and then a Ph.D. in pastoral psychology. Presently she is a Licensed psychoanalyst at Blanton Peale Institute and Counseling Center, Manhattan, New York.
