Seraj Assi

Seraj Assi was born and raised in a small Palestinian village in Israel. At the age of thirty, he self-exiled to the United States and settled in Washington DC.

He holds a PhD in Arabic and Islamic Studies from Georgetown University. His academic publications include The History and Politics of the Bedouin (Routledge). He writes for several media outlets. My Life As An Alien (Tartarus Press) is his first novel.
