James Rushton

James Rushton here, Structural Engineer and aspiring author! I currently reside in Yorkshire, surrounded by the beautiful countryside which helps me paint vivid scenery with the words encapsulated in my books. I've always been fascinated, enthralled by books, particularly those of the genre I so much love to write. Being able to create a world where people can escape to for a short while at a time is a huge privilege and it gives me great joy to hear how much people enjoy my work.

I currently live with my partner Alice in a beautiful home with our dog Bella, rabbit Saphie and snail Frankie.

When I'm not happily creating my next bestseller, I'm either playing piano, studying a multitude of subjects including chess, mythology and music theory, or going on a relaxing walk with both Alice and Bella.
