Matthew Maynard

Matthew Maynard, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and Bergen County, New Jersey. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from Salve Regina University before completing his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Syracuse University.

Matthew specializes in helping parents break through power struggles and shift from surface-level behavioral fixes to raising children with integrity, character, and pride. He is the creator of Emotionally Strategic Parenting (ESP), a system rooted in family systems theory that helps parents foster healthier family dynamics.
