Jay Morris PhD

Dr. Jay Morris spent thirty-five years in various positions such as a vice president, director, manager, and executive coach at Yale New Haven Health, Trinity Health, Merck & Company, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), Ernst & Young, and Allstate Insurance Company.

In addition to his corporate experiences, Dr. Morris served as a church leader for over twenty-five years in various spiritual roles such as board chairman, deacon, worship leader, and Sunday school teacher in multicultural congregations across the country. A lifelong learner, he has taught graduate courses in strategic planning, leadership development, change management, succession planning, and intuitive agility at National-Louis University, University of New Haven, and University of Pennsylvania.

Throughout his career, Dr. Morris has integrated his spiritual practices into his leadership framework, careful to never impose his beliefs by purposely living them out. He observed that leaders who aligned body, mind, and soul into their leadership style were able to get strong return-on-investment (ROI) results.

He holds a PhD in adult learning and an MA in organizational design, both from Loyola University Chicago, a JD from Woodrow Wilson College of Law, and a BA in sociology from North Carolina Central University. He received a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
