Robin Falvey

Originally from Brixham in Devon, Robin Falvey joined Dawlish Warren Lifesaving Club, qualifying as a beach lifeguard and later becoming a lifeguard instructor and club captain. In 2007, he left for New Zealand, where he worked as a deckhand aboard the tall ship Soren Larsen. Returning to the UK, Robin studied for a Master’s degree in journalism at Falmouth University and is now a freelance writer. Fulmar is his first novel and was runner-up in the 2015 Bath Novel Award.
