Ian Bates

Hi, I’m Ian

I am a counselor, hypnotherapist, and, recently, a writer too! I have practiced as a psychotherapeutic counselor for more than twenty five years and as a hypnotherapist for more than fifteen years.

I studied Psychology at university and then went on to gain professional qualifications in counseling, psychotherapy and hypnotherapy along with lots of other qualifications in various forms of mental health practice. Most importantly, I am a full-time practising counselor/therapist and have been for many years.
