Paul Harrison

Paul Harrison’s writing is mostly grounded in social reality. Often his stories are ‘human microcosms’, with the intent to cast light on broader and deeper issues. The short story Keep the Home Fires Burning was selected for the Underground Rivers compilation in 2012. Snuff and Temperance, a collection of stories about his home town Luton, was published in 2015. He has since moved from the UK to Hungary and achieved third place in the 2021 Ruritania Prize for original fiction from Central and Eastern Europe, with his story The Márna Hours. In 2023, Paul’s collection of contemporary angling stories- As Deep As England, was published.
