Miche'al Goodwin

My name is Miche'al Hopkins (Goodwin) also known as "Mikki".

I was born in Cleveland Ohio to Evangelist Agnes Hopkins and Reverend George Hopkins. I am one of seven children. And was raised in Indiana and now reside in Texas. I am the mother of five beautiful young adults, have two wonderful son-n-laws, Grandbabies, and great grandbabies. Above all, I am a faithful believer in Jesus Christ.

I enjoy spending time with my family, Church, friends, music, dancing, reading, and poetry.

"For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. Luke 12:48b" How do I give back for so much that God has blessed me with? I can never thank Him enough.

I am a volunteer with ECANA – Endometrial Cancer Network for African Americans women, CANCARE Cancer Support Group, and MD Anderson Cancer Support Group and Owner of AGAPE Love Wigs for cancer patients. I am a travel agent, and life changer with PlanNet Marketing. I am a Authur, motivational speaker, and encourager. I am a four-year Endometrial Stage 4 Cancer survivor. I became a peer supporter to reach back and support other women like me, to walk this journey victoriously.

I wrote my first book, "Poetic Travel of Life", in July of 2013. A book of poems that walks you through my life journey. Finishing my second book, "S.T.R.O.N.G", in July of 2023. A guided journal, that helps you find the strength that you have within. S.T.R.O.N.G, was written after my battle with endometrial cancer. I look forward to walking this journey with you.
