Fiona Hunter

A highly respected and experienced nutritionist, known for her honest, practical, and evidence-based approach to nutrition.

After graduating from the University of London with a BSc (Hons Nutrition), PG Dip Dietetics, Fiona worked as a Dietitian in the NHS for 7 years before moving to Good Housekeeping Magazine where she worked as their in-house nutritionist for 10 years.

Now working as a consultant, her clients include food manufacturers, retailers and public relations agencies. Her opinions and work have appeared in many publications including The Times, The Daily Mail, The Telegraph, BBC Good Food, The Spectator and National Geographic Food. An accomplished author she has written over 20 books and collaborated on books with many celebrities and chefs.

She says her primary goal is to provide honest, unbiased opinions and advice designed to help people translate complicated, and sometimes confusing messages, into meals they and their families can enjoy.

A creative (but messy) cook, who loves kitchen gadgets and spicy food, when not working or cooking Fiona can usually be found on the tennis court.
