I like funny, silly stories. I also like stories that have a beginning, a reason and an end.

Some years ago, while idling in traffic, I had an inkling for a story and decided to write it. As more ideas came forward on the same theme, I wrote them down and decided I could turn them into a series and The Zoo at Kathmandu began.

I have written over a dozen titles and I am planning to publish as I illustrate them. There are many characters to introduce in stories that are funny and kind.

My stories are written for five to eight year-olds though early scripts have been enjoyed by children younger and older.

As well as children, they have been read by parents, psychologists and considered by HarperCollins. All have commented on the ideas and clever humour.

In my younger years, I studied engineering and travelled extensively in Australia, Malaysia and Thailand. I have always had an eye for the aesthetic and was taken in by Asian artistry. With my love of drawing and art, I like to blend Asian elements into my illustrations.

I have made Salisbury my home with my fiancé for over six years now and find inspiration in the scenery and historical treasures surrounding us.
