Debbie Anderson is the author of the mystery novel, Friend or Foe, Oh, Danny Boy! and the coming-of-age story, Lizzy. Mysteries and thrillers are her genre of choice, with some humor thrown in for good measure.
She took courses in Art and Design, Creative Writing, Literature, and Business Management. As well as classes at the Institute of Children’s Literature. We find her published short stories in various anthologies, including Creations (2017-2023), Prosateurs Tales and Truth (2018), Yule Tidings (2019), and Journeys (2022). She is a member of the Oklahoma Writers Federation, Inc. (OWFI), and Ada Writers, Writing for Fun, and Prosateurs writing clubs.
Debbie began writing as a hobby, which soon turned into a passion. After surviving two bouts of cancer, one of her many doctors suggested she should write a book. So she did.
She has three children, Josh, Janie, and Nathan, and four grandchildren, Austin, Sidney, Emerson, and Leila. She lives in Ada, Oklahoma. As the oldest of eight children, she has warned her family they may appear on the pages of her stories. They have given her plenty of material.
