Camille Moore

Let's begin with my childhood - A mix of heartbreak and liberation. Losing my maternal grandfather whom i loved dearly, then shortly after being uprooted from everything and everyone I knew and loved in Ohio, to be moved across the country to a foreign land know as the San Francisco Bay Area; Oakland to be exact.

This seemed to be the ends of the earth and definitely the end of life as my twelve-year-old self had come to know.

These two great tragedies began my passion for poetry and writing.

Learning, growing, becoming a rowdy teen and experiencing some of the best years of my life in the place I initially hated shaped me, and two very different worlds I had lived in, formed me into the woman I would become.

I have worn many hats throughout my life - A Believer (first), wife, mother, daughter, encourager, friend, corporate manager, hairstylist, and business owner. I have never been one to shy away from trying new things. While this trait can be a double-edged sword, I live with NO REGRETS! My family and I currently reside in North Carolina, where I hold a BA in Psychology and a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. Perhaps it's my background, but I'm always on the hunt for solutions to characters' problems in my books. Pursuing my dreams has always been the driving force behind my writing. However, as I enter the second half of my life, I aspire to achieve more. I love to create and dream. Writing is liberating and what I enjoy most in my free time. Looking back, I want to be able to say that I chased all my dreams, even the ones where I may not succeed. I've learned to embrace failure, for I would rather fail than regret not having tried.

I want every woman to discover they possess the ability to do the same, which is the driving force behind my writing. Women are my jam! This extension of myself allows me to help other women confront past hurts, Dream and understand the characteristics that are holding them back from living an Unstoppable Life!
