Jacquel Clark

I completed my first career with a Fortune 500 company as the Vice President, Treasurer, and Assistant Corporate Secretary. Therefore, many insights in this book about the inner workings of a corporation come from firsthand experience. Once retired, I now teach accounting and finance at a local state college.

During a most heartbreaking time, I wrote my first book, utilizing the activity as a form of therapy. This was achieved with no background or instruction in writing fiction. In 2016, I self-published this book without the intention to promote or sell it. The following years were spent writing two more pieces and attending seminars where I learned about the many factors that go into crafting a good piece of fiction. In both cases, I judged them unpublishable.

I discovered my voice when the character of Dave Mansfield came to life. Now that I've sharpened my craft, I'm confident in producing enjoyable fiction in this genre.
