Growing up in White Center (AKA) Rat City was an education, giving me a clue about the World and how your choices shape your future. I became aware that playing the blame game would only keep me in the ditch I desperately needed to escape.
Getting married at sixteen and getting my GED in Federal Prison allowed me to open my eyes and see that it would take a lot of studying and discipline. With God leading me, I began to accept that if anything was to get done, I had to do it.
Then, I went into car sales, which was another eye-opener. If I told my people the truth in plain English, I would build trust! Later, I wanted a job that was not commissioned only, so I took a medical secretary course and then got a job running the front office for Dr Bob for six years. After six years of sitting in a box, I wanted out, so Bail Bonds came shortly after that. In between the two jobs, I took a trip to Israel, and it was there I was told I should write a book... At the time I thought, no way, air all my dirty laundry. Who wants to know that? Now bail bonds is where my eyes were truly opened, and it was God who led me into that industry, crying all the way!
