Jorge Schneider

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and I currently reside in Los Angeles, California.

I received a BA in Physical Ed from INEF in Buenos Aires Argentina. I have written several novels that have been translated from Spanish to English.

My latest novels are,

"La grieta," Grupo Editor Latinoamericano, Buenos Aires, Argentina

"El aņo que me fui," which as been translated to English, "The Year i went Away," ZQ-287 Press, Long Beach/Oakland, California, both have been very well received by the public and critics alike.

Throughout my work I explore the human condition and its circumstances. I plunge deeply within me looking for what makes me human and how I relate that to the world. I strive to be thought provoking and unrestrained.

Some of the authors I admire the most are, Jorge Luis Borges, Balzac, Camus, Nietzsche, Steinbeck, Auster, Pamuk, Sontag, Sabato, Cortazar, Exupery, Arendt, and all Greek philosophy.
