J. Curtis Dailey

The author is a retired U.S. Army Colonel and board-certified Forensic Dentist who spent over thirty years identifying long-missing military war dead (recovered from the European and Pacific theaters of WW II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War) and helped identify victims of several mass disasters, including Arrow Air Flight 1285R, the Burma Airway crash of 1987, the U.S.S. Stark, and with the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office after the World Trade Center attacks of 9/11.

Before becoming a dentist, he worked in a steel mill, as a Rec Dept playground leader, and as a jack-of-all-trades for a small municipal golf course. He is an award-winning photographer who graduated from Ohio University and the Ohio State University College of Dentistry.

The author has lived in California, Colorado, Ohio, Germany, Hawaii, Texas, Tennessee, and Maine. He and his wife, Susan, live with their dog, Norman, in Green Valley, Arizona. He is working on his next novel.
