Edgar Mahaffey

Edgar Mahaffey is the author of several short stories, including the First Place Winner of The Writer’s Digest Popular Fiction Awards, “Jin’s Baby”. He is also the head of the creative writing department at Shanghai High School International Division where he also teaches English literature. In his free time, he loves to read fiction of all genres, play Dungeons and Dragons, and hang out with his wife, Li Pengyun, and their 18-month-old daughter, Evelyn. Together, the three can be found exploring Shanghai, traveling, throwing random dance parties, and eagerly awaiting the arrival of Evelyn's little brother (coming in early 2024!). His view of life is simple: a day spent without laughter is a day wasted.
