"I am a God-loving, special needs mom, advocate, and writer," says Christine Goulbourne, a disability advocate for over eighteen years. As a mother of a young man with autism, Christine knows that parents of children and adults with disabilities must be informed of special education services, their rights, and how they can be actively involved in their communities, faith-based and beyond. After receiving training from leading advocacy experts and serving on many councils and boards, Christine trains special needs parents to advocate for their child’s right to be educated and included. Christine believes a child’s success begins with meaningful parent involvement.
